Community! At Forest Cliff we have the best staff ever. The relationships and bonds that are formed while working at Forest Cliff are the main reason our leaders come back summer after summer. The team of staff at Forest Cliff will challenge you to grow spiritually, professionally, and personally. You will be learning, loving, growing, and changing within a team of people who are there to support you and learn with you. 

Training! As a staff member, you will enter into the life-changing ministry of Forest Cliff; dedicated to Christ, young people, relationships. and fun! We will provide you with everything you need to be successful at Forest Cliff. This may include activity training, conflict management training, suicide awareness training, and so much more! You will develop skills that will last you a lifetime; skills that you can apply to your education, career, and future ministry.

At Forest Cliff we are dedicated to the growth of our staff. We believe in the ability of our young people to deal with sensitive and oftentimes tough situations. These situations will shape and mold you into a capable leader. You will not come away from this summer unchanged!

Day Camp Requirements

  1. completed grade 10 by Summer 2024
  2. work at various day camp locations in London, ON & area 

Overnight Camp Requirements

  1. completed grade 11 by Summer 2024 AND age 17 by December 2024. *Maintenance, housekeeping and kitchen staff must have completed grade 10 and be age 16
  2. work at overnight camp location in Lambton Shores, ON

WHY VOLUNTEER AT FOREST CLIFF?

 

Serve and encourage kids! In volunteering with Forest Cliff you will have the opportunity to help make a child's week at camp unforgettable. Volunteers play such an important part of camp - we couldn't do it without you! Whether you're helping in a cabin, cooking in the kitchen or are cleaning washrooms, you will be investing in the value of camp for each of the campers. Forest Cliff is place where children, staff and volunteers alike have fun and grow.

Volunteer Hours! If you are a student volunteer, you can receive hours towards your high school community service hours requirement. Just bring your school's tracking sheet with you each week that you volunteer and a designated staff member will sign it for you.

Discounts! If you are a parent volunteer, you may be eligible to receive a discount on camper registrations for your children! Contact scdirector@forestcliff.ca for details prior to registering your children.

Youth Opportunities:
LIT (Leader In Training) Volunteer - completed Grade 9 by Summer 2024
*formerly the CIT (Counsellor in Training) Program

Parent Opportunities:
Cook - work with our Forest Cliff Kitchen Team
Healthcare - volunteer for a week or more as a Registered Healthcare Professional alongside our Nurse's Aid
Maintenance - use your skills to help with special projects around camp. Painting, building, landscaping and more
