Activities and Program

LiTE is our first ever out-trip. Participants will start at Forest Cliff and drive seven hours up to Coldwater’s basecamp (Camp Norland 183 Norland Rd. Verner, ON). They will then head out on their week long canoe trip. Each day they will canoe, portage, set up camp, cook over the fire, and grow their leadership in a tight-knit community.

Our Partner

Forest Cliff is excited to partner with Coldwater Canada for LiTE. Coldwater Canada is a faith-based Christian leadership development organization that uses adventure and service to build faith, develop leaders, and engage communities.

They run wilderness paddling and backpacking expeditions, that are followed by student led community service-learning projects. They are committed to equipping and inspiring young leaders.

Saturday: 7:00 AM - drop off at Forest Cliff Camp Head Office (254 Adelaide St. S, London, ON), depart for Coldwater basecamp

Safety

We are committed to safety whether we are on or off camp property. Due to the nature of the trip, our leader to student ratio is lower for our LiTE trips than for the rest of camp. Our Forest Cliff leaders are trained in First Aid/CPR and our Coldwater partners are trained in Wilderness First Aid, and work closely with the Ministry of Natural Resources and local emergency personnel to ensure the safety of each participant.
