Training! As a staff member, you will enter into the life-changing ministry of Forest Cliff; dedicated to Christ, young people, relationships. and fun! We will provide you with everything you need to be successful at Forest Cliff. This may include activity training, conflict management training, suicide awareness training, and so much more! You will develop skills that will last you a lifetime; skills that you can apply to your education, career, and future ministry.
At Forest Cliff we are dedicated to the growth of our staff. We believe in the ability of our young people to deal with sensitive and oftentimes tough situations. These situations will shape and mold you into a capable leader. You will not come away from this summer unchanged!

Serve and encourage kids! In volunteering with Forest Cliff you will have the opportunity to help make a child’s week at camp unforgettable. Volunteers play such an important part of camp - we couldn’t do it without you! Whether you’re helping in a cabin, cooking in the kitchen or are cleaning washrooms, you will be investing in the value of camp for each of the campers. Forest Cliff is place where children, staff and volunteers alike have fun and grow.
Volunteer Hours! If you are a student volunteer, you can receive hours towards your high school community service hours requirement. Just bring your school’s tracking sheet with you each week that you volunteer and a designated staff member will sign it for you.
Discounts! If you are a parent volunteer, you may be eligible to receive a discount on camper registrations for your children! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for details prior to registering your children.

Forest Cliff will be accepting volunteer applications for the 2019 season as of January 1, 2019. There are a number of volunteer positions and we encourage all who are qualified to apply.

Once you have submitted your application and we have received your references, a staff member will follow up with you to confirm your volunteer dates.
Special Information for CIT Applicants:
If you are applying to the Counsellor-In-Training program, selected applicants will be contacted for an interview. Volunteer dates will be confirmed after a successful interview. Confirmed CITs will be expected to attend LEAD Training Weekend on May 31-June 2 at our Summer Camp property. There is cost of $100 for this weekend
