ACT | Activity Crew in Training

Learn & Develop Skills to Serve Others

Register for ACT in a community near you!  Our ACTors (as we like to call them) participate on a team with other junior high students (completed grade 6 - completed grade 8) who assist in running high-adventure activities for children. Learn from one of our dedicated ACT Leaders about how to safely lead rock-climbing, Gaga Ball, 9 Square in the Air, NERF games, crafts, skateboarding, scooters, all types of sports and games, and huge amusement inflatables!

Not only will you learn new skills, but you will experience fun team building & leadership training - discovering more about yourself, about why it's important to lead others well and about growing a relationship with God.

What to expect:

  1. Hours - 8:15 AM - 4:00 PM, Mon-Fri
  2. Enthusiasm - our ACTors are a BIG part of our camper welcome each morning!
  3. Teamwork - 8-10 ACTors (completed grade 6-8) with a dedicated ACT Leader
  4. Skills - how to run and supervise high-adventure activities for children + how to be a really great teammate
  5. Learning - how to lead others + how to have a relationship with Jesus
  6. FUN - lots of team building exercises + all the fun of our day camp activities!
  7. *For students going into Grade 9, you'll receive 20 volunteer hours too
